Instructions for requesting the deletion of your personal data.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to request the deletion of your personal data from Myra, please follow the instructions below.
This applies to both Myra platform users (our clients) and end-users who have interacted with a Myra AI agent via Instagram Direct Messages, Facebook Messenger, or comments on our clients' connected accounts.
1. Send an Email Request
Send an email to contact@heymyra.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
2. Include Required Information
Please include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your Myra account (if applicable)
- Your Instagram username and/or Facebook profile name (if you interacted via these platforms)
- A clear statement that you want to delete your data
3. Verification Process
For security purposes, we may need to verify your identity before processing your data deletion request. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
4. What Gets Deleted
Upon verification, we will delete:
- Your Myra account and profile information (for platform users)
- Any message content and conversation history accessed through the Meta Graph API (Instagram and Facebook)
- Profile metadata associated with your Instagram or Facebook account
- Usage analytics and stored preferences
- Any other personal data we have collected
Important: Once your data is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Myra services again.
