Getting started with Myra is a straightforward process designed to get you from sign-up to your first lead in under five minutes. This guide covers the various ways to access the platform, whether you are a new business owner or an employee joining an existing team.
Creating a New Workspace
If you are the primary administrator or business owner:
- Visit the Sign-Up Page: Navigate to the main Myra website and click "Get Started" or "Start Free Trial."
- Enter Details: Provide your work email, name, and a strong password.
- Email Verification: You will receive a 6-digit verification code or a magic link in your inbox. Enter this on the sign-up screen to verify your identity.
- Workspace Creation: You'll be asked to name your workspace (usually your company name). This creates a unique environment where your data is isolated and secure.
- Currency & Region: Select $ USD and your timezone. This ensures your billing, proposals, and automated messages are correctly localized.
Joining an Existing Workspace
If your company is already using Myra, you should not create a new account via the public sign-up page. Instead:
- Check your Email: Your administrator will send you an invite from the "Team" settings.
- Accept Invite: Click the link in the email.
- Set Password: You will be prompted to create a password for your profile.
- Role Assignment: Your permissions (what you can see and do) are determined by the role your admin assigned you during the invite process.
Signing In
Once your account is created, you can sign in at any time:
- Direct Login: Go to
app.pulsepost.ai/login(or your agency's custom domain if applicable). - Google Sign-In: If your email is hosted on Google Workspace, you can use the "Continue with Google" button for a faster, password-less experience.
- Session Duration: For security, sessions expire after 14 days of inactivity. If you use a shared computer, always remember to log out.
Security & Access Control
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
We strongly recommend enabling 2FA to protect your client data.
- Setup: Go to Settings → Profile → Security.
- Method: We support TOTP apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.
- Recovery: You will be provided with one-time recovery codes. Save these in a secure location; if you lose your phone and your codes, you may be locked out of your account.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Enterprise customers can integrate Myra with their identity provider (IdP).
- Supported Protocols: SAML 2.0 and OIDC.
- Benefits: Centralized user management and improved security compliance. If your admin enables SSO, the standard password login will be disabled for your workspace.
Troubleshooting Access Issues
- Didn't receive verification email? Check your spam/junk folder. Ensure your IT department isn't blocking emails from
@pulsepost.ai. - Forgot Password? Click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Reset links are valid for 1 hour.
- Account Locked? After 5 failed login attempts, your account will be locked for 15 minutes for security.
Common Pitfalls
- Using a Personal Email: We recommend using your business email address. This makes it easier to connect your professional calendars and avoids confusion with personal contacts.
- Multiple Workspaces: If you belong to multiple workspaces (e.g., you are a consultant for several agencies), you can switch between them using the workspace switcher in the bottom-left corner after logging in.
