Myra turns your CRM into a fully-featured cloud phone system (VoIP). By integrating voice directly into your workspace, you eliminate the gap between "Talking to a client" and "Documenting the conversation."
Getting Started with Voice
To begin, you must provision a phone number in Settings → Phone Numbers. Current billing support covers Ireland, the UK, the US, and Canada. You can also "Port" your existing business numbers over to Myra.
Technical Requirements
- Hardware: Any standard USB or Bluetooth headset. We recommend against using built-in laptop mics to avoid echo.
- Browser: We support Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Ensure you have granted "Microphone Permissions" to the Myra domain.
- Network: A stable internet connection is required. For the best quality, use a wired Ethernet connection.
Handling Inbound Calls
When a call comes in, a notification pops up regardless of which page you are on.
- Instant Context: If the caller is a known contact, you'll see their name, their last 3 notes, and their current pipeline stage before you even pick up.
- Smart Routing (IVR): Build complex phone menus (e.g., "Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Support").
- Call Queues: If all agents are busy, put callers in a queue with custom "On-Hold" music or messages.
- Simultaneous Ring: Ring multiple team members at once; the first to answer gets the call.
The Outbound Dialler
Make calls with a single click from any contact record.
- Power Dialler: Select a list of 50 contacts and click "Start Dialling." The system will call them one by one, automatically pausing for you to take notes between calls.
- Caller ID: Choose which of your Myra numbers to display to the recipient. You can even "Verify" your own mobile number to use it as an outbound-only caller ID.
AI Call Intelligence
This is where Myra truly shines. Every recorded call is processed by our AI to extract maximum value.
1. Automated Transcription
Within minutes of a call ending, a full, speaker-separated transcript is available. You can search these transcripts globally-finding every time a specific competitor or product was mentioned.
2. AI Summary & Action Items
The AI writes a concise summary of the call and identifies "Action Items."
- Example AI Note: "The client is interested in the Pro plan but needs a custom VAT invoice. Action: Send invoice by Friday."
- These action items can be converted into Myra Tasks with one click.
3. Sentiment & Talk Analysis
- Sentiment: The AI detects the "Mood" of the caller. Was the call "Frustrated," "Excited," or "Neutral"?
- Talk-to-Listen Ratio: High-performing sales reps usually listen more than they talk. Use this metric to coach your team.
Compliance and Recording
Recording calls is a powerful tool for training and legal protection, but it must be done responsibly.
- Consent Prompts: In many jurisdictions (like California or Germany), you must notify the caller they are being recorded. You can enable a "Pre-Call Announcement" that plays automatically.
- Selective Recording: You can set the system to "Always Record," "Never Record," or "Record on Demand" (where you click a button mid-call).
- Storage: Recordings are stored securely and encrypted. You can set an "Auto-Delete" policy (e.g., delete recordings after 90 days) to comply with GDPR/privacy regulations.
Voicemail and Missed Calls
Never let a lead go cold.
- Visual Voicemail: Read the transcript of a voicemail instead of listening to it.
- Missed Call Text-Back: An automation that automatically sends an SMS to anyone who calls and doesn't get an answer (e.g., "Hey! Sorry we missed your call. How can we help?").
Pricing
- Monthly Number Fee: A small monthly cost per phone number.
- Per-Minute Rates: Billed for phone usage using country-specific rates for Ireland, the UK, the US, and Canada. US local numbers use current live pricing baselines of $1 setup, $1 monthly, and inbound local calling from $0.0032/min before workspace markups.
- AI Processing: A small per-call token fee for transcription and analysis.
FAQs
Can I make calls from the mobile app? Yes. The Myra mobile app (iOS/Android) allows you to make and receive calls using your business number, keeping your personal number private.
Is the call quality as good as a landline? In most cases, yes. We use the same tier-1 carriers as major telecom providers. Quality is primarily dependent on your local internet connection.
