Notifications

Push, email, and in-app alerts for the things you care about.

Staying responsive is the key to winning more business. Myra’s notification engine ensures that you and your team are alerted to critical events the moment they happen-without being overwhelmed by "notification noise."

Notification Channels

We deliver alerts through four distinct channels, allowing you to choose the right level of urgency for every event.

1. In-App Notifications (The Bell)

Located in the top-right corner of the dashboard. This is your "Activity Center" for non-urgent updates like task assignments or low-priority @mentions.

2. Push Notifications (Desktop & Mobile)

  • Desktop: Appears in the corner of your screen, even if your browser is minimized.
  • Mobile: High-priority alerts on your phone lock screen via the Myra app.
  • Best For: New inbound calls, SMS replies, and high-value lead captures.

3. Email Notifications

Sent directly to your account email address.

  • Best For: Daily summaries, detailed system errors, or when a proposal is officially signed.

4. SMS Alerts

The "nuclear option" for the highest level of urgency.

  • Example: "URGENT: High-value lead from [Source] is calling now!"
  • Note: SMS alerts consume communication credits.

Configuring Your Preferences

You have granular control over what interrupts your day. Navigate to Settings → Notifications to customize your personal "Alert Map."

Event Type Push Email In-App SMS

Team-Wide Defaults (Admins Only)

As an administrator, you can set "Default Notification Templates" for your team. This ensures that new hires are immediately set up with the most important alerts for their specific role.

Collaboration: @Mentions

To get a teammate's attention on a specific record:

  1. Open the Notes or Tasks section on any contact or deal.
  2. Type the @ symbol followed by their name (e.g., @Sarah).
  3. Sarah will receive an immediate push notification and an email with a direct link to that record.
  4. Team Mentions: You can also tag entire groups, like @Sales-Team or @Support.

Managing Your Focus

Quiet Hours (Do Not Disturb)

Don't let work follow you home. You can configure "Quiet Hours" in your profile settings.

  • Function: During these hours (e.g., 7 PM to 8 AM), all non-critical push and email notifications are silenced. They will be waiting for you in your in-app notification center when you "wake up" the next morning.
  • Emergency Overrides: You can designate certain event types (like "Missed Call from VIP") to bypass Quiet Hours.

Device Management

See every device currently receiving push notifications for your account. If you lose a phone or leave a company, you can "Revoke Access" for that specific device in one click to ensure data security.

Best Practices

  • The "Three-Second Rule": If a notification doesn't require action within 3 seconds, it probably shouldn't be a "Push." Move it to "In-App" only.
  • Channel Specificity: Use Email for things you want to "file away" and Push for things you need to "act on."
  • Check Your Spam: If you aren't receiving email notifications, ensure your IT team has whitelisted @pulsepost.ai.
